Yesterday, I met a local Physical Therapist with whom I share a Fit Body Wellness client with. She asked how I started Clubbell Yoga. I hadn’t thought about it in awhile, but when I answered I realized that the process was completely organic and in no way forced. You could say it happened in Flow…
Clubbell Yoga started as an idea, and has and continues to have many states of transition, growth and evolution. Where in your life do you have a really good idea that could use some fertilizing?
Back to the story: I told this lovely woman that I used to be a trainer in New York City, and brought my Clubbells and Yoga mats to all of my private sessions. We would do a Clubbell workout, and follow it up with yoga. Eventually, the two started to merge, and I started creating movements that complimented the two systems/practices.
However, the real inspiration happened when I took 2-3 months off of work to go do yoga in the jungles of Costa Rica with some friends (fertilizing the idea). Taking that time to immerse myself in what I was passionate about, and being inspired by meditation and nature really sparked a vision in me and I was able to get really clear on how I wanted to start building this body of work.
When I got back to New York City, I made a DIY youtube video with a filmer that I met off of Craigslist (we are still friends today…). From that video came amazing feedback from our RMAX community and beyond. Then Scott Sonnon told me to make a manual, and we planned and shot the first DVD.
I share this story so that you know that good ideas have to start somewhere. If you have an idea you have been sitting on, or mulling around in your head for awhile… but haven’t taken any action on it, ask yourself what is blocking you? How can you start eliminating that block, and making small actionable steps that help you get even more clear on your vision.
This is what I help my Flow State of Mind Coaching Clients with… getting clear on their vision and starting to take action (over and over again in the right ways). I strongly encourage Flow seekers to join our FREE Flow State of Mind Coaching private Facebook group where you can interact more personally on these topics. Or comment below with your ideas and thoughts. Honored to help others on their path toward Flow State of Mind.
